Understanding ADGM Employment Regulations
Under the ADGM Employment Regulations, employees are entitled to an end-of-service gratuity if they have completed one year or more of continuous service.
Key Rules for ADGM Gratuity:
- Calculated on Basic Salary: Gratuity is based on the final basic salary.
- Service Threshold: Minimum 1 year of continuous service.
- Payment Scale:
- 21 days' basic salary for each year of the first five years.
- 30 days' basic salary for each additional year.
- Maximum Cap: The total gratuity cannot exceed two years' basic salary.
