Resignation Gratuity Rules
For unlimited contracts, the gratuity entitlement upon resignation varies:
- Less than 1 year: No gratuity
- 1-3 years: One-third of gratuity
- 3-5 years: Two-thirds of gratuity
- 5+ years: Full gratuity
For limited contracts, you receive full gratuity regardless of who terminates the contract.
